{"id":25194,"date":"2023-09-18T15:46:17","date_gmt":"2023-09-18T15:46:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/progyny.com\/?page_id=25194"},"modified":"2024-12-09T18:23:53","modified_gmt":"2024-12-09T18:23:53","slug":"gag-clause","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/progyny.com\/lp\/gag-clause\/","title":{"rendered":"Gag Clause"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-lexia\">Gag Clause<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Gag Clause prohibition in the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) prohibits health plans from entering into contracts that restrict specific data and information that a plan can make available to another party.\u00a0 Plans must annually submit an attestation that they have not entered into any prohibited contractual restrictions.\u00a0The attestation of compliance with the CAA&#8217;s prohibition of gag clauses is due by December 31 of each year.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For group health plans who wish to submit the Gag Clause Prohibition Compliance Attestation (GCPCA) on their own behalf, Progyny can provide confirmation of compliance. Progyny provider and network agreements align with the prohibition of gag clauses and do not include restrictions on disclosing price or quality information to Progyny clients or its members.&nbsp;
