In each pillar, it addresses different avenues, or different things that affect an employee. For example, the physical pillar will frequently look to a client's offering of<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">how they keep people fit<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">. T<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">he social aspect of the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">well-being<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0pillar is<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">in the workplace, which is quite different today than it was a year ago<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">B<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ut in the workplace<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">, w<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">hat does the employer have that aligns commonalities to their employees<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">?<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">F<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">or example, do they have a<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">n<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0LGBT<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Q+<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0organization that has a voice up through the people place<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0up through the HR place<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">In e<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ach one of those pillars<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">there's different facets of solutions that the employer puts in place to address that. And quite frequently, what we're asked to do from a\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">well-being<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0perspective is a full inventory of the different things that an employer may have in place that fall within each one of those pillars. But here's the\u00a0really good\u00a0stuff. The\u00a0really good\u00a0stuff is holistically, I am a clinician and I look at a person holistically. So how does it all connect? What's the connectedness of all those pillars sort of coming together and bringing the employee to the center of those pillars? That's the cool stuff.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{"201341983":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>Why don\u2019t all\u00a0<\/b><b>E<\/b><b>mployers\u00a0<\/b><b>O<\/b><b>ffer\u00a0<\/b><b>F<\/b><b>ertility\u00a0<\/b><b>C<\/b><b>overage?<\/b>\r\n<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">20:40 - 22:30<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{"201341983":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":259}\">\u00a0<\/span>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Dan Bulger:\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\">You've just heard a lot of\u00a0really great\u00a0reasons\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">on why<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0an employer would choose to offer robust fertility coverage for their employees<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">A<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">s you see, when a benefit is well designed, it\u00a0actually can\u00a0solve a lot of problems for the employer. But then you may ask yourself, why don't all employers just start offering this kind of fertility coverage right now? Why isn't it just automatic for employers to go forward?\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">At Progy<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ny, we ask ourselves that question all the time. But there are some misconceptions that employers have about coverage that can keep them from pulling the trigger. The biggest such misconception in Elaine's eyes is what we'll refer to as the floodgate scenario<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.
