It was set to happen sometime in mid-March. Just around the time New York City was talking about shutting down due to Coronavirus.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{"201341983":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Kim Tranell:\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The doctor let us know that the embryos were progressing well, but the bigger question became, should we do the transfer at all at\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">t<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">his point?\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">It was March 18 or something, when the city was transforming from\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">a theoretical<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0risk to constant\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ambulance<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0sirens and flooded\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">emergency<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0rooms. The doctor\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">didn't<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0cancel it outright, but he gave us\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">all<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0the information that he felt we needed to make the call.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{"201341983":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">He talked about all the other things we needed to consider, other than just going into the hospital on that day.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Like what about coming back for other appointments? Or what if I miscarry and have to come back for a D&C?<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{"201341983":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">So,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0we felt we didn\u2019t want to do it. We didn\u2019t want to tax the healthcare system. It didn\u2019t feel\u00a0right\u00a0and it didn\u2019t feel safe.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">So,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> we decided not to do it, but we felt horrible after that. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{"201341983":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>Sharing Their Story and Finding Support<\/b><\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{"201341983":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":240}\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u00a0<\/span>\r\n<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">19:13 \u2013\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">24:48<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{"201341983":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":240}\">\u00a0<\/span>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Lissa\u00a0Kline<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">: During this forced pause, Kim decided to share her story.
