Company’s Chief Medical Officer to present new fertility research that shows value of personalized care and treatment guidance for improving outcomes

NEW YORK, March 11, 2026  — Progyny, Inc. (Nasdaq: PGNY), a global leader in women’s health and family building solutions, announced today that Chief Medical Officer Janet Choi, MD, will present new fertility research during the first annual Health and Human Services (HHS) National Conference on Women’s Health, March 11-13, 2026, in Washington, DC. The event will bring together leaders across the industry to explore breakthroughs in research, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of health conditions that affect women across the lifespan.

Progyny’s participation in the conference represents the company’s role in contributing to and helping shape the national conversation on advancing women’s health. As a recognized leader in fertility, family building, and women’s health benefits, Progyny has spent the past decade partnering with employers, health plans, and clinical leaders to elevate the standard of care, improve outcomes for women and families, and advance innovation. The company has one of the largest data sets on fertility in the U.S., providing a unique ability to gather insights that can improve health outcomes.

The fertility research being presented, co-authored by Alan Copperman, MD, Managing Director and CEO of RMA of New York, assessed how integrated education and clinician-guided decision-making influence treatment selection, timing, clinical outcomes, and cost of care. Key findings include:

  • Early cycle awareness can support informed decision-making: Nearly half of women who received early cycle-aware education did not  pursue fertility treatment.
  • Personalized fertility care can help patients reach pregnancy more efficiently, limiting the emotional and physical toll: In this member population – where benefit design did not mandate step-protocol requirements – time to achieve a successful pregnancy in days was up to 42% shorter.
  • Age remains an important factor in fertility treatment success: In this analysis, only approximately 8% of IUI (intrauterine insemination) cycles were successful among patients age 35 and over, reinforcing the importance of timely evaluation and individualized care planning.
  • Individualized treatment decisions may help optimize birth outcomes and cost: Treatment pathways should consider the risk of multiples which can increase the likelihood of neonatal intensive care needs and associated costs.

“Fertility care is highly personal and time-sensitive, and treatment decisions should reflect each patient’s clinical circumstances. These findings underscore the value of personalized, clinician-guided care in helping patients make informed decisions about their family building journey,” said Janet Choi, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Progyny. “The selection of Progyny’s fertility research for presentation at this national forum highlights the relevance of evaluating how fertility care pathways affect patient experience and outcomes.”

Over the last seven years, Progyny has become the brand of choice for more than 370 of the nation’s leading employers across 40+ industries due to our proven track record of delivering superior clinical outcomes and a best-in-class member experience at a lower cost to both patients and employers. Millions of companies in North and South America were examined, with only the top 500 firms awarded.

With compounded annual revenue growth of 80+ percent over the last 7 years, as well as having signed 105 new clients, added 1.2 million lives covered, and sustained our near 100% client retention rate in the last year alone, we believe this recognition is well founded.

Today, Progyny was named to the inaugural Inc. Best-Led Companies list, an exciting 12-point measure of management excellence across the middle market — a select, data-driven list of the very strongest U.S. firms with revenue of $50 million to $2 billion. This novel program is the first Inc. recognition list to honor both public and private companies.

The final list recognizes 250 companies that are agile enough to maneuver but also big enough to have a broad impact. Together, these companies employ 35 million people, about one of four U.S. workers. All 250 have a successful track record with leadership teams that spur solid performance, create value, penetrate markets, engage with customers, and more.

To be considered for the list, each company had to fill out an application answering questions about its performance, executive team, and leadership. Applicants were then analyzed via an algorithm that identified the very best companies according to their leadership teams’ superlative accomplishments in four key areas: performance and value creation; market penetration and customer engagement; talent; and leadership team.

“This inaugural list of companies represents the remarkable midsized companies, both public and private, often founder led, that are at the vanguard of reinventing American business,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc. magazine. “With their leadership, all business will benefit from an exciting, competitive future full of possibilities.”

“It is an honor for Progyny to be named to Inc.’s Best-Led Companies List,” said David Schlanger, CEO of Progyny. “This recognition is a testament to how the company has thrived this past year, especially during a global pandemic, and how we have continued to collaborate as a team.”

Progyny’s benefits solution empowers patients with education and guidance from a dedicated Patient Care Advocate (PCA), provides access to a premier network of fertility specialists and the most appropriate treatments and approved technologies to give doctors and patients the best chance of success. Our solution also reduces healthcare costs for the nation’s leading employers and drives optimal clinical outcomes. We envision a world where anyone who wants to have a child can do so.

NEW YORK, May 16, 2018 – For many people dealing with infertility, the emotional impact may be as challenging as the medical roadblocks. But there are resources that can help. Progyny, the leading fertility benefits provider, has teamed with Happify Health, a leader in mental health and wellness technology, to create proprietary digital tools aimed at giving Progyny members the resources they need to manage stress, anxiety and negative emotions associated with infertility and fertility treatments.

The interactive, digital program, designed specifically for Progyny and its members, uses science-based activities and exercises from leading clinical psychologist, Dr. Georgia Witkin. Dr. Witkin is an assistant professor in both the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science and the Department of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Medical Center and is Head of Patient Development Services at Progyny. Dr. Witkin has focused her career on the impact infertility has on emotional wellbeing, and the design of clinically-proven methods to help members through various stages of infertility and the related treatments.

Resources on-demand
By participating in Happify Health exercises, Progyny members can regain a sense of control, develop effective coping strategies for stress, anxiety and negativity and, ultimately, manage their emotions in a way that supports their fertility objectives (with a goal of shortening the path to pregnancy).

“Infertility is a disease that has a significant impact on emotional health, including self-esteem,” said David Schlanger, CEO of Progyny. “Women and men dealing with infertility can have elevated levels of stress, anxiety and depression which, in turn, can impact physical health. We are proud to partner with Happify, the pioneer of evidence-based digital emotional health solutions, to bring this exciting new emotional support tool to our members.”

Progyny members can access the proprietary track, “How to Survive the Emotional Roller Coaster of Infertility,” through the Progyny member portal or Happify’s iOS and Android apps. Progyny members also have access to 24 additional Happify Health tracks designed to improve feelings of happiness and promote resilience and mindfulness. The activities and games in each interactive track are based on more than 20 years of research in the fields of positive psychology, mindfulness and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT).

Science-based emotional wellbeing resources, delivered online
Happify Health’s digital guided exercises for individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression have been designed to improve overall emotional wellbeing. A 2016 study published in The Journal of Medical Internet Research1 explored the relationships among Happify Health usage, language and outcomes. The study found that Happify users, predominantly aged 25-54 who used various Happify activities to address negative thoughts through the Happify Health platform on a regular basis were able to improve their positivity.

“At Happify Health, we believe that the systems and channels to deliver mental and emotional support resources can be vastly improved,” said Ofer Leidner, president and co-founder of Happify Health. “The team at Progyny saw an opportunity for us to combine clinically-proven resources from a leading fertility psychologist with Happify Health’s activities designed to reduce stress, depressive symptoms and anxiety. But most importantly, by offering this to members, Progyny is opening up access to effective emotional wellbeing resources to members at a time when they need it most.”

Online emotional wellbeing resources can be as effective as traditional resources and allow people to engage with the resources at any time, on any device. By changing the system and channels used to deliver assistance, Happify Health is helping increase access and reduce the stigma around asking for help – making it easy to engage and interact at a crucial time.
